Lyrics: Do you have allergies? If so, you will probably relate to this song.
I’ve got the ragweed blues.
It starts tickling my nose.
I’ve got the ragweed blues.
Yeah, there’s pollen on my clothes.
It comes in every August
when that warm wind blows.
I’ve tried all kinds of pills.
I’ve tried shots in the arm.
I’ve tried nasal sprays and inhalers,
but they never work their charm.
These allergy blues,
they’re doing me harm.
I can’t say my m’s or n’s.
They sound so funny.
I can’t talk or sing,
'cause my nose is so darn runny.
I’ve got these ragweed blues.
I just sneeze and cough.
Sometimes I feel so bad
I want to pull my own nose off.
I’ve got tissues in my pockets.
I’ve got tissues in my bed.
Well, I wipe my nose so often.
It just makes my skin turn red.
These allergy blues,
they got me in the head.
My snot is green.
My nose is red.
These allergy blues,
make me want to go back to bed.
I’ve got the ragweed blues,
they’ve really got me down.
You know these allergy blues
they make me look like a clown.
It’s dust and mold and pollen.
It’s grass and pretty trees.
It’s animal hair and ragweed.
I hate these allergies.
I’ve got the stuffy nose blues.
It’s getting out of hand.
You know these runny nose blues
are something I really can’t stand.
I’ve got the ragweed blues.
It starts tickling my nose.
I’ve got the ragweed blues.
Yeah, there’s pollen on my clothes.
Well, it comes in every August
and it lasts until it snows.
I’ve got the ragweed blues.
It starts tickling my nose.
I’ve got the ragweed blues.
Yeah, there’s pollen on my clothes.
It comes in every August
