Join us for an unforgettable performance of the travel version of our musical Hidden, based on the true story of Ruth Kapp Hartz, who was a "hidden child" as a young Jewish girl in southern France during World War II. Forced to change her name to Renée Caper in order to blend in, Ruth and her family rely on the kindness of strangers in a small French village. From a secret apartment to a basement hideout to a Catholic orphanage in a convent, Renée must hide her true identity and learn to survive through a series of harrowing events. Dealing with themes of identity, allies, anti-Semitism, fascism, resilience and resistance, this musical will resonate with audiences today. Ruth will be present in-person to answer questions after the show. 

Doors open at 6:30 PM.  Recommended for Grown-ups, and grades 5-12.

A Daylong Celebration featuring local Musical Artists Cooperative members who performed at the 2024 Philadelphia Folk Festival.  Two of a Kind will perform for kids at 12 PM & for adults at 2:40 PM.  Other performers include: Michelle Miller, Mr. David C. Perry, King Edge Hill Galootin-Free Flourtown Doughboys, The Jefferson Coalition, Meghan Cary, Aaron Nathans, CubiZm, Kicking Down Doors, Jersey Corn Pickers, and Mara Levine w/Stuart Markus & Gerry McKeveny.  Event runs 12-8 PM, with food trucks, and Philadelphia Folk Festival & Artist merchandise.  Rain or shine - if it rains, the fest will move indoors to The WaR3house3 across the street (& up the alley).
